How do I use the Cape Cod Polishing Cloths?

Rub tarnished object gently, for tough jobs rub harder. Wipe polish off while still wet with a buffing cloth (do not wash polish off- polish mush be buffed off)

Can I wash the Cape Cod Polishing Cloths?

No, do not wash the polishing cloths. Cloths may be used over and over, however discolored-- continue to use them repeatedly until they disintegrate.

Can I wash the Cape Cod Buffing Cloths?

Yes the buffing cloths may be hand washed and air dried.  Do not wash the polishing cloths.

How long do the Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths last?

One cloth will last quite some time. From our testing we've found that one cloth will polish a silverware service for eight or a brass tuba. Keep in mind that the Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths can be used over and over again until they disintegrate.

What can I do if my cloth becomes dry?

Should cloth become dry a few drops of mineral oil will revitalize. To prevent the cloth from drying out, return to tin or foil pouch after use.

Should I wash my silver after polishing?

We recommend washing silver your silver after polishing, with a mild detergent, do not use dishwasher to clean your silver

What metals can I clean and polish with the Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths?

Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths may be used to clean and polish all fine metals. The cloths are not recommended for brushed or satin finishes
